Vouchers for Veterans Returns to New Hampshire and Maine Winter Farmers Markets Beginning this November
New Hampshire & Southern Maine, November 2025 – Vouchers for Veterans is proud to return to winter farmers markets across the region from November through April, offering a meaningful way to support both those who have served and the farmers who feed our communities. Veterans and Active Duty Military from New Hampshire and Maine are invited to attend participating farmers markets, where they’ll receive $20 weekly in vouchers to spend on locally grown produce, meats, dairy, baked goods, and other farm-fresh products. It’s a simple and rewarding way to enjoy healthy, local food, while sharing a moment of connection and camaraderie with others who have served.
To participate, Veterans and active duty military just need proof of service and residency in NH or ME. Farmers and food producers receive the full face value of every voucher redeemed, ensuring that this program strengthens both our veteran community and our local agricultural economy.
Markets participating this winter include:
Stratham, NH: Cooperative Middle School, 100 Academic Dr. Saturday, 10AM-1PM
Salem, NH: Mary A. Fisk Elementary School, 14 Main St. Sunday, 10AM-1PM
Rollinsford, NH: Wentworth Greenhouses, 141 Rollins Rd., Saturday, 10AM-2PM

“Our mission has always been to show gratitude and appreciation for those who served by giving them access to fresh food and camaraderie," said Morgan Morani, Executive Director of Vouchers for Veterans. “These markets are more than just a place to shop, they’re a place for connection, gratitude, and community.”
Since its founding, Vouchers for Veterans has empowered thousands of veterans to access healthy, locally sourced food while providing valuable income to farmers and food producers in New Hampshire and Maine. The program is available 7 months out of the year, during the months of September and November-April.
