Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival Tour at Rochester Opera House April 3
ROCHESTER, NH – The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour will stop at the Rochester Opera House for one night only on Wednesday, April 3 as a fundraiser for Greater Seacoast Community Health. Doors open at 6 p.m. and films begin at 7 p.m.
The Paintbrush Film Program will be shown, highlighting outdoor adventure, travel to exotic landscapes and action sports. The film lineup is as follows:
Event proceeds assist local individuals and families in accessing quality, affordable primary and preventive health care services through Greater Seacoast’s network of community health centers: Goodwin Community Health in Somersworth and Families First Health & Support Center in Portsmouth.
“We’re honored to host this world class event as a fundraiser to help us further our mission of providing quality health care to everyone — regardless of ability to pay,” said Joann Neumann, Greater Seacoast’s Chief Development Officer. “We’re excited for film festival guests to join in viewing these amazing feats of adventure and outdoor exploration.”

About the Rochester Opera House:
The historic Rochester Opera House, a not-for-profit organization, presents an annual performance season of shows for children, teens, adults, and seniors. Built within City Hall in 1908, this beautifully restored theater is the only remaining theater in the world with a unique mechanism that raises the orchestra floor at an incline for amphitheater seating and levels the floor for dancing.

Immediately following the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival, held annually in November in Banff, Alberta, Canada, a selection of the top films submitted to the Festival go on a tour around the world. Host organizations in each tour location help to choose a program that reflects the interests of their community, creating a unique celebration of adventure and adventurers at each stop.
