ROCHESTER POLICE DEPARMENT
CRUSH THE CRISIS
Prescription Drug Take Back Day
Saturday, October 26, 2024, 10am-2pm
Frisbie Memorial Hospital is committed to improving more lives in more ways, and is proud to partner with the Rochester Police Department and other partners in support of the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in the fight against medication misuse and opioid addiction. Crush the Crisis events aim to educate our communities on the risk of medication misuse while providing a safe and anonymous way to dispose of medications that may be left over from previous procedures or other medical visits.
Take action by turning in your unused and expired medication for safe disposal.
ACCEPTED ITEMS: Tablets or capsules in any packaging, patches, medicated ointments, lotions, or drops, liquid medications (in leak proof containers), vape cartridges (without batteries) and pet medications.
NOT ACCEPTED ITEMS: Needles, syringes, lancets and illegal drugs.
The collection site, which includes a convenient drive thru medication drop-off option, will be located in the main parking lot of the Rochester Police Department. Please follow event signs to the drive thru medication drop-off location.
