The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce will present the annual Holiday Parade on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.

The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce has been organizing and presenting Rochester's annual Holiday Parade since the mid-1980's. The Rochester Holiday Parade is one of the largest holiday parades in the state. This year's Parade is being underwritten by First Seacoast Bank. Our thanks to them for their generosity to this annual holiday tradition.
The official theme of this year's parade is "Christmas In Candyland". The parade will begin at the triangle by the R.W. Creteau Regional Technology Center, travel south on Wakefield Street, turn onto Union Street and then turn south on North Main Street and proceed through South Main Street, disbanding around the Rochester Commons.
Judging of floats will be done for "Best of Parade", Second Place and Third Place, and plaques will be awarded. Floats are judged on creativity, craftsmanship, theme and overall appearance.
There will be various bands and entertainment spread throughout the parade. Various marching groups and entertainment are invited to participate in the parade each year. Their participation is sponsored by local businesses to cover the cost of having these groups participate which costs several thousand dollars as parades are fund raisers to assist in defraying the costs of their equipment and uniforms.
The parade each year also includes marching units from several youth groups and organizations, mobile and equestrian units, as well as VIPs including City elected officials and representatives from the Rochester Police and Fire Departments, and of course, everyone's favorite - Santa Claus will join us at the end of the parade.
