Event Description:
Join the Dover Chamber and their host, the Children's Museum of New Hampshire, for the Chamber's Monthly Morning Mixer, Sponsored by First Seacoast Bank! This event will take place in the Museum’s new exhibits—Little Farmers and the Play Loft—which opened this spring as part of the Museum’s largest capital project since moving to Dover.
Little Farmers features life-size farm animals and a tractor, a hen house, crops to harvest, and a sensory break room called “The Homestead.” The Play Loft is a space designed for active play that will change several times a year; currently installed is “Floor is Lava” with a climbing volcano, balance beams, and more.
The Museum serves 104,000 people annually, and now has 23 permanent exhibits offering hands-on, interactive experiences related to dinosaurs, music and aeronautics, world cultures, art, natural history and STEAM subjects.
This fast-paced, structured, speed networking program starts promptly at 8am, ensuring participants make it through all stations before the end of the hour. Participants arriving after 8am will be assigned a station if there is a station available; any participants unassigned to a station are welcome to stay until the end of the program for general networking.
Each station will have two minutes to share information. After the two minutes are up, one participant will move to the next station and the timer will begin again. The average participant makes 10-15 new contacts in the hour-long session. Bring 40+ business cards to share while networking.
This is a member only program, but Dover Chamber has agreed to waive the fee for any members of chambers the museum belongs to. To waive the fee, just use the promo code "chamber" when registering.
